Teen Vogue has debuted its first issue of 2017 on Monday as part of its new plans to release only four publications a year. Titled "Volume 1," the issue focuses on young love and features everyone's favorite model Bella Hadid, alongside breakout actress/rising fashion muse Sasha Lane and singer/LGBTQ activist Troye Sivan with their own solo covers.

Though Hadid has already garnered a number of spring campaigns, Teen Vogue's "Love" issue marks her first cover of the year. Photographed by Daniel Jackson and interviewed by Editor Elaine Welterworth, Hadid dishes to the publication about her love for horses — a common theme among her profile stories — and breaking up with The Weeknd. (The two made their debut red carpet appearance almost exactly a year ago at the Grammys.)

Hadid also recalls the moment she shared on the runway with her ex during the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show shortly after they split up. The heavily captured encounter went viral — our own Editor-in-Chief dubbed it "The One That Got Away" — but it wasn't so easy at the time, according to the 20-year-old. "It'll be hard for a while. Love hurts, but you have to pull through," Hadid told Teen Vogue.

On a lighter note, however, the publication also created a fun video starring Hadid as an '80s poster girl, adored by a very lucky 12-year-old named Shane Stesner. There's even a cute dancing scene between the two.
